Re: Inflation. Just pointing out that it's not inevitable. Japan had an extended period of deflation (falling prices) starting in the early 1990s and ending just months ago. But I'm incredibly off-topic and should go back to the financial boards that I'm usually on while the stock market is open.

Totally avoiding the whole SE thing, but it was only a matter of time before sombody used SE as the framework to hold hand-coded stuff, so no real suprises there.
My point is about the discussion surrounding the price.. The prospect of releasing any new plug-in and forecasting the price to see a healthy return, is a total nightmare.. My (and others) experience has been that there are not really a lot of sales to be had, unless you invest in the type of promotion that will sap your profits anyway.. The market of users prepared to pay is probably pretty limited.

Fine - but the fact that there seems to be one heavy attempt to cover up the use of SE in the use of this project, coupled to the outrageous price - leads to some very damning conclusions.

Also some of his claims about SE modules are just plain shit - Some third party modules make use of SSE code and some are also coded in assembly. Someone seems to have not done his homework, and is attempting to blow his own trumpet, whilst distancing himself from the mere mortal SE user.

Seriously, are you jealous that this guy can code his own modules and you can't and that his stuff is good enough to actually ask money for it ? He did a very fine job. Why would he have this thing labeled as SE if he didn't use any of its audio routines at all ?

And I hate Con Artists too. Had another listen to the Demo. A fifty dollar synth at best. To compare these filters to those in ImpOSCar is beyond ignorant. ImpOSCar kicks this synth's ass by a mile. If the DEV can't hear that then he's either deaf or...........

By the way. How many of the people defending this synth have actually purchased it? I thought so.
