So how will it work with regards to registering Cubase. I dont know about anywhere else but here in the UK if you buy a Steinberg product from another country the local distributor (Arbiter) charges £25 to register it with them. If you dont register it with them you cant get any of the updates from them.

Unless esoundz sells the upgrades too (which would be cool as with past experience Im not over fond of Arbiter)
Yeah, apparently Steinerg Canada won't support anything sold outside of Canada...so much for the "global economy".

It's early days yet, and I'm sure Squids et al will sort something out (and I don't even want Cubase!)

We may carry those, and Reason and the Steinberg Upgrades. I will let you guys know.

Yessirree bob! You don't want to miss out on that Steinberg Canada support. Between "duh" and "Huh? I wasn't listening. My shoelace is untied." you just know they're going to be able to tell you why the original Grand CD has a cyclical redundancy. I'll buy my upgrade from esoundz and forego the itinerant frustrations.

Well, as of today the Cubase 4 upgrades are now supposed to be available to dealers. Any word yet on what the eSoundz pricing and availability will be?

Sooooo...
Any ETA on availability, Squids?

Also, are you or any of the Ecrew using Cubase 4 yet? If so, whatcha think? How are the new VST instruments and FX? Any really cool new features that stand out?

O.K.

I see you've got the Cubase 4 pages up.

Looks good, nice discount, etc. But I don't see the SX3 Upgrade, just the 'competitive' upgrade.

On the Steinberg website there's a whole list of different upgrades, including SX3, each with a different pricepoint. Will I be able to buy the SX3 upgrade from you guys, or does that have to be done directly online with Steinberg?

Thanks

I'm interested in the upgrade from SL2 to Cubase Studio 4. It's $149.99 on the steinbergupgrades.com site.

Is it available from esoundz?? What's the price and how soon would it ship??? :?:

Some of those are only available through Steiny.

Is it possible for you to confirm which ones we can't get from Esoundz so we can 'do the right thing?'

We only have the ones that are on esoundz right now. Sorry. If we could get the others we'd be happy to sell it to you believe me.
