i'm pretty sure i've done it correctly. but none of them (from smartelectronix.com) will show up. can someone help? i'm using digital performer. i'm on a G4. i've put them all into the correct folder, just as i've had to do with reaktor and other vsts......... can someone tell me if there is another step other than just dropping them into the vst folder in my plug in section of my audio "cupboard"? javascript:emoticon(':(')javascript:emoticon(':love:')javascript:emoticon(':help:')

I don't know DP, but maybe you have to rescan your plugins? I have to do this when I add new plugins in Tracktion.

i'll look and see if there's a rescan plugin feature,..... to the best of my knowledge its supposed to rescan every time i open DP. all the audio units are recognized this way... and all the audio units from smartelec work, just not the vsts....

super angry. only the audio units are being recognized. the vsts LOOK great. i want one appear in my pulldown menu so very bad.
other than that, i'm happy with the audio plug ins. they are fantastic. i'm sure the vsts are much more fun to use however. since i have a knob fettish.

ok so i just optimized my dp to 4.6 and tried installing this Live Cut AU plugin and it is the only plug in out of a plethora that resulted in "serious errors" in terms of compatability... i guess we always want the things we can't have....... i'm really crying inside. no reaktor ensemble looks this easy to use and gives this beautiful effect. all i want for christmas is .................live cut.
