Cool. Can't wait!

It's not intended for full mixes, though - is it? That seems impossible.

Post

Full mixes are absolutelly not problem, but you can't clean a whole mix from very very long reverbs. That means, lets see, for a full mix the limit is about 90ms of tail :)

227ms maximum acceptable and 500ms on full tilt.

edit: wrong numbers

Post

Huhn. And is this going to be a VST plugin?

Post

Yes, it works as a VST plugin.

Post

Will it be published before or after MidiWorks amp sim??

Removing the reverberations is easy, but leaving everything else intact is the hard part. :)

Ok, I'm starting to process the first file. Bduffy's vocal plate. Very very long reverb!!

Give me some minutes :)

ed: improving algorithm for such a long reverb...

sounds delightfult (the concept-still waiting for examples)....expected release? price range?
i am me and i am free...k thx bai

Are you ready for a real test for the 'whole mix' claim? :)

Bare in mind most people tend to use reverbs in terms of seconds as apposed to the milliseconds you were referring to previously. Otherwise its not really a reverb remover.

Still very curious to hear the results though!

Post

Bduffy's example has a VERY strong kind of modulation. I'll post the result, but give something smoother, and wav, please. Can be a whole mix.

Thanks

Post

I definitely have a use for this (I'm working a lot with voice-overs, sometimes badly recorded). Eagerly awaiting some examples, or better yet a beta or demo of the plugin.

Post

Alright, give me a url to a (free) file host :D

Thanks
strong modulation? Oh, sorry. I just used the Steinberg "NaturalVerb" because I thought it didn't use any modulation. My bad. I'll post something else.

Post

No problem... I actually found a way to solve the "modulation" problem... only works in mono, but works.
