My KVR playlist is really starting to fill out with virtuoso tracks and this is certainly one of them.

I am a terribly hard person to please with music but this is just soooo Zeoy, a peak experience of expressivity.

good to hear the creative juices flowing my friend,
you know I wouldn't miss new material by you,
trouble was I had to go out of town for a few days,

hey did I detect a hint of steve howe there,
cool the way noise was used as part of the rhythm,

Took me a short while to pinpoint which album it reminded me of, then it hit me, it's 'David Sylvian & Holger Czukay > Flux and Mutability'
One of my all time fav cd's, so yeah, this track is indeed great stuff :D

Great track! :)

I completely enjoyed it as the instrumental it is, BUT I also could imagine that some vocals would transform this into something...??? ehm, different and maybe a real song (just a thought, you know :wink:

Nice! I really like the guitar stuff. The drums are nice too, but I was waiting for some rides or something to come in.

I agree about the vocals, it just sounds like some of those are missing.

Excellent tune-smithing mate :) Love the guitar work and blends -- I agree with others -- wish it were longer! As it is, a *keeper* in the xan's favs file! ;)

Very soundtrackish. Sort of vaguely reminiscent of Neil Youngs work in 'Dead Man'

I like the unconventional context of the guitar sounds.

And yes it could be longer, but brevity is by far the most forgiveable of musical sins.

Its a shame we can't jam realtime, but I fear that a plane ticket to Greece would break the bank.

This one deserves an immediate answer (no delaying for more effective bumps this time :hihi: )
You're the first who got my intentions and influences right. I had no Neil Young in mind (although I love most of his work and esp. Dead man) but yeah, that's the spirit and that's why the "desert" part in my description in the first post. All those moody guitar players are a big influence for me.
Realtime jams are dificult ATM but lifetime guitar services whenever you need them John :wink:

Wonderful! That's the kind of music (ambientish/soundtrackish post-rock) that got me making music in the first place. There is that sinister Slint ambience through the track and the synths that circle the guitar are spooky! Thanks for the listen Nikos :)
