hey plastique... i'm wondering if you planned to make cc & note init program.
i know that using other midi processors with your pc init i can do everything i need but it's sometimes so hard and "confusing"!

for example... i have an external analog filter, the sherman filterbank. it has not patch memory but sending certain note messages to it, you can set external\internal trigger mode for envelopes and other things..
i need to make this kind of setup for every song automatically after the loading of a project..no need to set velocity value, only channel and note...

It's still planned (S-CC-Init), no estimate to tell when I'm going to get on it as I'm usually quite busy.
Will your project work with CCs ? Or are Note-Ons a must for this application ?

Post

sherman filterbank uses note-on messages to get a setup. no matter what velocity value is recived.

for other synths i often use to send some cc at the beginning of a song... but i can use only maxmsp as vst developing language. and even if you build a simple vst, when a maxmsp plugin is loaded it takes many precious seconds and many mb of memory to load the pluggo runtime...

* S-PC-Init updated to 1.05 (had to still fix some odd host behaviour) - see second page of this thread for the details and download link

* S-CC-Init plugin started to see the light of day:

It's almost too similar to the PC-Init plugin so I can spare any explanations.
Enjoy.

i tested s-cc-init and it works very well.
thank you very much plastique!!! :D :D :D

this plugins are exactly what i was serching for. the only possible improvement is adding many out-ports and sysx support but it's better to wait for xt2

It's so freakin great!

There's so many possibilities with all your plugs used together, I think many live performance issues are solved now.

Thanks a lot! :)
