Just install it in a new separate folder. You can have as many FL Studio versions running as you feel comfortable with. It doesn't clog up the registry in any way.

I mean, when the beta expires in December -- after I get used to all the cool changes, I gotta go back to me old version?

Or will they release a proper version before then?

Or will they release another beta??

They keep releasing betas. The next one should come a few days before expiration.

I know that, but I dont want to upgrade from 6.0.8 because it will feel like they have me by the chain if I have to update and re-install every month

Last I checked, December is still 2 months off.

I'm wondering if FL Studio will ever grab me in, I bought it on impulse and the most I've used it for is for hosting plugins. I end up installing the demo for Acid whenever I want to mess around with loops for a few minutes. I don't remember my login for looptalk, did they ever come out with that FL 6 bible?

People who dont like pattern-based hosts but love FL Studio will love this one.
