But as an owner of R.A.W it seems a bit redundant to get the R.A.W again. Will there be a bundle for the 15 Paks only?
(or some sort of upgrade

Not sure when/if we will have an official product page for the upgrade item but you can actually pre-order it now with jorge@esoundz.comflynn wrote:That's great Squids![]()
I totally agree with you. If I'm able to get more than I need for less, it opens up unknown desires for other sounds/genres than I thought I wanted![]()
I'm a "want it all" kind of guy, so "everything bundles" suits me well![]()
I assume the upgrade item will be up next week then.

Believe it or not I actually went over the details of this with Eric and Glenn from Spectrasonics to make sure we got that right! So, yeah, it was actually designed with Stylus RMX in mind as one of the MAIN formats to hit besides the usual Reason, Kontakt etc. The other product we wanted to hit well for expanded content was Abelton Live. They import really well into Live as well.holymoly wrote:yo squids - quick question - are these compatible with Stylus RMX?
When importing REX2 files into RMX, the "converter" has a some restrictions to importing REX/REX2 files, so don't know if this R.A.W series is fully-compatible with importing into RMX.
Thanks...
That's easy. Sonic Reality is a sound development company, the "manufacturer" of the sounds. www.esoundz.com is just an online webstore. I am a partner in both but the reason esoundz existed in the first place was so there was at least one retail outlet for ALL Sonic Reality products to be in stock since the SR site doesn't sell direct (just tells you to go to esoundz or any other SR dealer). Unfortunately, even with as many retailers as there are carrying SR products there isn't any other store on the planet that carries ALL of the Sonic Reality products besides esoundz (there's quite a lot and that's not even counting the thousands of DOWNLOADABLE products which is more and more becoming esoundz MAIN focus in the future).holymoly wrote:shoot, squids! couldn't ask for a better answer than that!
so hey....OK, you've probably already been asked this many times over, but I'll ask anyways- I'm a bit confused what the difference is between Sonic Reality & Esoundz. Without having totally roam both sites...they look to be practically offering the same stuff, so appreciate if you could give me the low-down on both of those sites you're associated with.
You are talking about the WAV editions, correct? (Which I can confirm do in fact work well within LiveSquids wrote: The other product we wanted to hit well for expanded content was Abelton Live. They import really well into Live as well.
The R.A.W. Gold Edition and individual R.A.W. Style Paks come with Rex, Apple Loops and Waves (that work with Live). So, I was referring to that.dgkenney wrote:You are talking about the WAV editions, correct? ) AFAIK, Live doesn't support REX at this time. Or did I miss something.

Given that Sonik Reality worked closely with Spectrasonics on RAW; for those of us without Stylus RMX, how about an opportunity to buy it through eSoundz at a really good price?Squids wrote:Believe it or not I actually went over the details of this with Eric and Glenn from Spectrasonics to make sure we got that right! But, anyway, each folder is done with the drag and drop compliance of Stylus RMX where it has 61 or less files in it and the hierarchy is only one folder deep. ALL of the RAW and Rex Pak products are done this way.
Oh I see. I don't think Spectrasonics wants esoundz to be a dealer to be honest. Otherwise I wouldn't mind carrying it personally.beergeek wrote:Squids, I think DarkStar was looking to buy Stylus RMX from eSoundz with a RAW owners discount
