Is this an appropriate place to ask what the situation is with the lovely Viktor?
Yes, Viktor...well, now that we have fixed some stuff in Abakos and made some good progress, we can get to work on completing Viktor. In fact, Viktor will be much more stable even in beta state because of the fixes in version 2 of Abakos.

EDIT:
i finally found the volume knob,
it should have a different color
maybe cyan/blue?
edit2:
it seems to have plenty of
dreamy peter pan type of sounds
(-) the internal volume is definetly too low,
after using 50 presets...no sound!
i first thought it is broken.
after i raised the volume of my speakers
50% above my regular volume values...
it finally started to make some noise...
it leaves the impression of...
"i'm too shy to step out, to make some noise"
so kick my butt
so, it should be louder by default..
but not too loud, either.
(+) great to see a handy DLL version, no doubt.

Although it consumes >30% cpu on my old slow system I really like the sound and looks of this one

3*s...my "easy way around it" is to turn off extended mode in Phrazor (recall data instead of preset no.). I mention this because I hope for you that a similiar host-based solution exists in Sonar.HERCsMusic wrote:We'll look into it.
Abakos is unlike many other plugins in this respect. It is not a fault. The HERCs synthesis engine handles presets in it's own way independent of any host. Some find this a boon, but for you it is a problem. We shall look into it, as I said. There may be an easy way around it.
About Abakos itself,
...
Thank you, HERCsMusic!

Some users have asked for the default volume to be louder. Here is how to do it:
- Go to your Abakos directory and open the config.txt file
- Add this line to any part of the tabbed values:
vertical [65536]
- Save the text file and exit.
- Default volume should now be louder for you
