The Moog trademark LOGO is the property of Moog Music, in the U.S.A. & World-wide. except in england where it is hold by a company called 'Moog Synthesizers'
so the only persons entitled to say if you can use this name or not are these two very companies and not arturia or they will have to prove it , but from all the information i have collected no where arturia appears as the legit owner of this brandname

i don't no yet , i need some information i have mailed moog music to know what are the real rights of arturia over moog's name they'll give me and answer in something like 3 days ,i have posted too on the developper site in order to have some fresh information about all this .

What if you'd change the name to prevent trouble? FreeMini or so? I don't think that "Mini" is a trademark except for skirts.

no it was a beta but it was released and some people had the chance to download it
