Wasn't sure whether to post this in the instruments forum or here, feel free to move it if you need to. :)

Is anyone else having this problem with The fonts on Grizzly appearing to be too small?

It doesn't look like that on the download page screenshot, it looks like the font Majken has been replaced by a standard windows font. Did you use a non-standard font Majken?

It sounds awesome by the way, my new "go to" drumsampler! :)

isnt there a grizzly.ttf in the zip archive that you should copy into the /windows/font folder?

Ahh.. many thanks for reporting that and I was sort of just waiting for it ;)

Just like Larsby says there is a font in the installer but it copies itself to the font folder. However it may not refresh the font folder meaning the font is installed but the OS is not aware of it.

What OS are you running?

I've tested it on Win XP and 2000 and the installed seemed to work on both. Perhaps you're running 98? If you'll be able to help me test the installer I'll be happy to sort it out.

For now though all you need to do is to open the Windows\Fonts folder and press F5 to refresh. That should take care of the problem.

There is no grizzly.ttf but a grizzly.fon when unpacking the installer. I haven't installed.

Copying it in the font folder does not change anything apparently on Win ME.

TTFs can be added and used on the fly by just copying them in the font folder usually but not sure about FONs. Reboot may be needed. I'll let you know.

I'm using Windows XP Home service pack 2 and it's fully updated.

That worked, thanks Majken! :)

Ok, I've maybe fixed it. Anyone who had the font problem please try this. Delete the Grizzly-VST font from your Windows\Fonts folder. Then download the installer and try reinstalling. If it works, please tell me and I'll ask Tuz or Ben to replace the installer with the new one.

Sorry for the inconvenience, it's all my fault though. I'm new to this whole installer thing and being a sucker for details I really wanted to make my own font.. I just knew I'd run into problems.. heh.. ah well :)

We're working hard on streamlining Grizzly making it quicker to load and less heavy on the cpu. We're also gonna make some small gui changes to try to decrease the window size slightly while making it less cluttered.
