I've only tried 3Cheese so far, but I loved it. I thought I'd try the amp effect next. Anyone try that yet?

I'm really happy to have the preset banks that came with Rave'n Bass. But I'm looking foward to tweaking out the eFX tonight, and seeing whats most useful.

Pondular
is awesome
a beautiful and inspired work of audio and visual art
I just evolved a load of randomly generated but unnaturally selected presets if anyone wants them.

Holy crap!
So much stuff that is even better than so much commercial stuff
I honestly feel bad having to pick out just a few, much less vote for one!
Seriously thanks!
Faves so far -
Triple Cheese - Comb fun, of course I think it may be cheating a little as it really seems to be a subset of Zebra...
Anna - Amazing synth! CPU issue and initial load time are issues. Also would love to see Aftertouch and some midi CC#'s added as sources in the mod matrix.
MASB Comppressor - Cool interface, awesome control & sound!
Choralozoide - Sounds awesome so far, I just need to actually try it on vocals...
Ritual - Awesome pallette of new sounds from such a simple synth, very nice filter feedback tricks!
SuperRubbish - Wow, cool new concept of nastiness (inspired by Insert Piz maybe?)
EQ22 - Cool psycho-acoustic FX!
I also had a few issues, Craud crashed my PC in Live hard, couldn't get BuzzRizerFree to do anything, I think I just didn't get along with Matryx...

Thanks! Will add it in a future version, no doubt. Currently adressing the CPU issues.kodama wrote:Anna - Amazing synth! CPU issue and initial load time are issues. Also would love to see Aftertouch and some midi CC#'s added as sources in the mod matrix.

hehehe, you'll have a hard time to recreate anything in Z2, as all the excitation and non-linearities are totally different (there are similar names for stuff, but in Z2 the Pluck/Saw/Square are done by polynomes while in 3C it's done by feedback fm oscillators, hence controllable in a different way). The Blown model for instance can't be reproduced even remotely close, and I think neither can the Bowed nor the Stressor be.
The only thing that's indeed stolen from Z2 is the idea for crackled noise, but even that is coded from scratch with some slightly different schemes. It does sound different (In Zebra it accumulates "crackle-envelopes" while in 3C it retriggers an everfading dc).
Oh, the lowpass filter calculation for the damping is indeed identical with Zebra's...
P.S.: However, I'm considering to put some of the cheesy models into Z2 at some point
