Please go ahead and post what problems you're having and do tell about your system as well.

I'm sure all problems are fixable.

eg. for tonespace you need .net from microsoft.com (in case you missed it in the "read me from tuz.txt" file.

for video vst you gotta put the sdl.dll in your system32 folder in the windows directory.

for anybody who had a font problem in majken's grizzly. you may d/l it from http://www.majken.se/vst/download/grizzly.exe for now and i'll upload it to kvr as soon as i come back from work.

I have a problem with Cakwalk... My MIDIs will play the instrument I assign them to, but only for two seconds before they go back to a default instrument. What is the deal?

There is probably a instrument change midi event in your miditracks.

Tuz, the topic might be a bit to generic here. maybe you should change it to "Post your troubles that are in the least bit related to the kvrdc entries" or something similar.

I think that is what you mean, but hey, if its not, I'd like to talk about my problem with to much to do and to little time to do it all on!

Live crashes when loading Grizzly. I do have the latest download for Grizzly (with the fixed fonts) and both it and the older version makes Live crash.

Live 5.2
Win XP home SP1

Loads fine within Energy XT so it's some compatability issue with Live.

All synthmaker based plugins crash at startup here.

I don't have SSE, and I assume there's a corrolation between the two.

Matryx took ages to install ( a few minutes ). Starting it now just loads the start-up screen (fullscreen) and does nothing (no activity to notice).

XP Pro SP2, Athlon X2

Edit: Apparently needs a reboot after install

Ok here are the problems i had so far:

uLoop by Jtxx000 - Didn't understand how to make it work. From what i understand it's a looper effect that needs midi notes, but i couldn't get it to make any sound. Any help will be appreciated

The second looper, Repeatler by Larsby @ Betabugs Audio, looks really really cool, but after recording into the buffer it only plays a distorted sound. So is it a glitchy type effect or a bug or that i've done something wrong?

MASB Compressor by Sambean @ Magalov Audio - looks & sounds great, but killed my cpu

Arke and I have been getting bugs with Anna. He found more bugs than I did. The ones I ran into were:

-The sound distorts when you first press down a note (any note) after loading a preset.

-It takes a long time to load... a long time.

-I guess this is a GUI bug? When I go to turn knobs and stuff, it's very slow, and my mouse pointer disappears until I stop turning the knob.

Hopefully arke'll pop up with more bug reports. We both use FLStudio, too.

We're working on a streamlined version that has a few features cut out and a bunch of optimizations. The actual .SE1 files that holds the connections has shrunk to 80% of what it used to be. This might solve the problem since I'm suspecting the host times out due to the long loading times.

Should be finished within a day or so.

Anna Takes 10 seconds to load, about 4 seconds to load a preset, and forever to delete.

collide and play crashed pretty hard on me.
it froze up completely but the computer continued to run okay. Even when I tried to end task it was just stuck open and frozen until I rebooted. Might just be my machine though. It was my "beater" laptop.

ANNA:

It's sound is very nice, however, when loading, it distorts any audio, and when switching presets, it distorts/glitches the audio and also seems to freeze my system/host for about 3-4 seconds when switching preset. I assume this is because of a very short CPU spike... really needs to be fixed. Other then that, this is a great synth. I really hope this problem won't somehow keep it from winning, or at least recieving less votes. Hopefully it is worked out soon.

OTTO FX:
Has crashed to desktop a few times.
