I'm using Live Lite 5.
You are so right, I found this error and corrected it. Will send update to tuz and ben this evening. cannot build on my os x machine from here (work) but its all good.
Thanx for pointing this out. wonder why the live betatester didnt find it. you can still press on the keys though, but it is a lot better (fun) to be able to do it with a keyboard.

Thanks, stefancrs. :D

I love Anna, by the way. :D

I should probably have named it just a little bit differently, it's just a matter of time before I explode at someone for saying something inappropriate :)

Zombie Fungus will WRITE TO the wave file you select. If there's any indication it's going to do that, it's subtle and I missed it. I lost two samples testing it, thankfully not of anything good.

In FLStudio 6.08, Triple Cheese gets "stuck" every time I tweak something or choose a different preset; I have to click off the window if it's got focus, or on it if it doesn't, before I can play another note with the "typing keyboard to piano" option. Sometimes a note gets stuck on and I have to stop the sound completely and then refocus the window before I can play another note.

Post

did anyone find any problems with my synth?

I was pretty sure it didn't have any after the beta test phase, but I'd be curious to know if anything went wrong or if there were any unplanned quirks. ;)

As Ildon and Chase said for Anna ...

- Takes a long time to load, change preset, delete. Will try out your update when you upload it, maybe it fixes that.

- Knobs turning slowly - I've noticed that this is most extreme with the oscillator knobs. I assume that for some reason, an update gets sent more often, causing it to update the oscillators more often.

- Sometimes, theres a "pop" on noteOn, most noteably in unison situations with free running oscillators.

- The LFOs dont seem to be global? :(

Other than that, wonderful :D

This is because it has to recalculate it's wavetables, it's not because their more updates, just way heavier ones. I'll have a look at it and see if I can optimize it (I have an idea that might work just fine).

The "pop" is due to a CPU spike, which now is a solved issue. The load, preset and unload times is being worked on.

True. Adding support for "free running" global LFOs is planned, but won't happen during the actual competition since I see that as a new feature. Adding features after the deadline isn't ok imo.

Okay loaded up fire in Tracktion. chose the "bounce" preset. lowered the numtaps to 1. silence. raising them back to another number - nothing

could be a bug, couldn't it?

Post

I agree. I played around with in energyXT using midi keys, definitely a differnet experience than using the mouse (especially when bouncing quickly between A and S for gating effects). Glad to hear I could help.

it froze up completely but the computer continued to run okay. Even when I tried to end task it was just stuck open and frozen until I rebooted. Might just be my machine though. It was my "beater" laptop.
thanks for the report, could be some video driver,
on the laptop do you run XP ?
