Lunchbox Battles is seriously fun, and the ability to export WAV and MID makes it a potentially useful improv tool as well. Something to fire up to spur creativity! It strikes me as very polished and "professional" despite its toylike nature.

I suspect Anna is going to be awesome with the CPU issues fixed; it was a bit awkward to deal with in its initial release though.

I know I'll be using Choralozoide on all kinds of things that aren't vocals.

SuperRubbish is fun stuff and I'll be using it for sure. Piz has some catching up to do!

TripleCheese does neat pads, I foresee using it in a future track.

Ritual surprised me -- I was disappointed with most of the presets, but when I started playing with it I found some new territory.

Cubix is fun. Mute switches for each track would be very handy though, and it causes a big delay when starting playback of a pattern/song in FLStudio.

I want to skip out on the rest of my workday so I can try out the rest...

I was very impressed by the Pushtec EQ and the MASB compressor - the first compressor I've felt compelled to play around with and learn a bit more about compression

as for the vstis, triplecheese is standing out for me and - once again - lunchbox battles is a hoot

URS - can't get midi learn working in triplecheese - am I missing something ???

I hope for some extra features though like "Excel 2003" mode where the Boss Key looks more authentic on newer office installs

Will take more time on all the plugins before I comment them, but thank you all allready!

MASB compressor is awesome, probably the only compressor so far that I would apply to acoustical music.

EDIT Not sure yet about BuzzRizer, have to test it more.

I tried to visit some of the homepages that are mentioned in the manuals because I think the developers deserve some credit but two out of two are not available.

I seriously agree on what you say about MASB Comp. A very experimental compressor that allows for a lot of experimenting

Tonespace is absolutely amazing! What a great useful and educational tool! Probably the best of them all but I'm not sure yet. Thanks for that!

MST VS-1000R and Triple Cheese are definitely the best sounding synth IMO. They Have fine clean and inspiring sound and presets.
MST VS is quite buggy though. It has a very high cpu increase when pressing midi notes I think and I've had many freezes in Live 5.

And ofcourse Lunchbox, yes real cool.

Well, I have to try all the rest.

That's exactly my experience with most of tweakbench's synths. They sound totally underwhelming at first, but once you start turning knobs their hidden beauty comes out. "Pressure" has to be one of my favorite VA synths of all time.

Hah.. i think i just suck at making presets. I need to just stick to designing the instruments. Luckily, i have contracted the help of Proem to design all the presets in my upcoming release of all the plugins. Yay!

----Mini Vyn is pretty straight ahead preset-wise, I got it to make some pretty gnarly noises though hitting randomize in FL and tweaking things from there. It's a very digital sounding analogue synth to me, and the GUI is a tad large to fit on my screen, but that may be my fault. The Sound Effects .fxb was pretty hip though, anybody looking for some old skool-ish space FX need listen to these

Overall, it's pretty cool, and the cpu usage is fairly low, defintely check it out if yer into sound FX, harsh sounds, and analogue style programming. And don't forget to mouse-click on the GUI keyboard for extra fun

----Ritual does some crazy sounds when ya hit *random* in FL, it has a little glitch that quite a few SE synths do though. After hitting randomize, then stopping playback, then when starting again, it randomizes again, each time you stop the sequencer playback then start it again it randomizes the patch. Anyone else notice that, or have that prob ?

It should just fit a 1024x768 display, and I designed it at 1280x1024. Quite simply, even with video as part of the main board of a computer, one should be able to run at at least that resolution these days. And really to do the GUI I did I couldn't fit it any smaller and have it look as detailed (it'd be horribly pixelated otherwise.

I'm surprised you saw it as digital sounding though? The filter feedback loop is a bit uncharacteristic for what it theoretically should do, and maybe that's what's going on, but I tried to make things a bit less clinical sounding with the Vyn. One thing you may notice is that even using the A440 tone generator, you'll be ridiculously hard-pressed to get it in perfect tune just from it drifting.

But in an effort to stir the pot and get more views for my product, I'd like to propose something.

I'd argue that my synth can make the biggest, 'phattest', grungiest bass right out of the box, moreso than any other synth in this competition.

I'm totally gutted, I havn't had a chance to try anything yet, and wont get a chance till after the weekend, after work I'm off to the grrlf's parents house to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival...

While I did get a fair amount of decent analog bass sounds out of it, I personally feel the filtering lacks a bit of character. Also I was getting spikes upward of 9-10% cpu on my dual-core athlon 64 x2.

The cascade filter design behind those 4 simple "filtering" knobs on Ritual is something i'm very personally proud of. It takes the very common SE analogish sound, and makes it much warmer and richer. The custom supersaw oscillator I designed helps out a bunch too..

What are your favs so far ?
