Trying to do it now -- just have to figure out how. I love FLS, but *most* of my composing is done in AA.

Hey einstein check back a few posts...I seem to remember doing it too...:hihi:
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I play keys, drums, bass and some guitar.

Trained on various instruments by members of Green Day, Flipsyde, and Digital Underground, as well as classically trained by my Juliard mother.

Being a TAXI whore, I've had placements for TV, Film, and even *cough* Hillary Duff. My styles range from ......jesus, I'm starting to annoy/bore *myself*. You get the idea.

Although this still says nothing as to whether my music is actually any good, it hopefully establishes me as a 'musician'.

80% done on FL.

Like everyone is saying, it's what you put in. Half the 'famous' artists I work with use some of the 'toys', (reason, FL) and have it transferred over to pro-tools before anyone finds out.

What purists are calling 'toys' are being used by some of the people they worship, but the famous people get paid to say they're using something else.

Use what works for *you*.

Here, you probably want to see if I suck. I probably do:

its ridiculous how many 'pros' insult FL and actually have no idea what it is currently capable of...

anyone who thinks FL is not good for *insert any part of musical workflow here* should go download FL 6.08 demo (the 6.4 beta is even better) and actually try it. and read the help file a bit for gods sake. It works fine for multi-track ASIO audio recording - especiall since the betas....

I play piano and didgeridoo ;)

I don't play any instruments at all but I remix and produce some mp3's and rock the MPC and lay down huge power phat beats exclusively in Sonar.

yea i thought it was the timesig issue. that and no 'notation-roll' ;) is a real turn-off for anyone with 'classical' musical training.

you can still use the grid in the piano roll to get the effect of different time sigs but its an annoying workaround, like having to render and insert audio clips manually if u want freeze....
