This is an excellent use of the Subtractor. There are some excellent sounds there. It just goes to show that the Sub's capabilities are superb.

I have one of my Reason tracks here:

My problem with the Sub is not the range of the sounds that one can get with it, it has after all, one of the finest 'front panels' as synth can have. No, my problem is that audibly aliases. Try making your track in 88.2kHz and downsampling to 44.1kHz and then compare the two. It is quite a difference, although it is not likely to be heard on an mp3.
Hey man. Spiralling is pretty nice and relaxing song. Nice tune. I realy enjoyed 8)
Hardly to believe that it's comming from subs but then again who knows :)

Thank you. :)

This was pretty much the most complex thing I ever did with Reason 2.5. Its a great tool.

I also used the P3 sequencer to get a lot of the sequencey bits

Well some of it is Subs, but a lot of the 'analogue synths' are long multi-samples of raw sawtooths taken from one of my own modulars that are then processed in NN-Xt.

Yeah, nice one synthbuilder :D

Great that you accomplished this in Reason 2.5 as well - very impressive mixing, space and stereo imaging from even before they added the M-Class stuff 8)

i forgot to mention that reason should have m-class inspector type metering device.

Now that's also a great idea! Along with an M-Class Multiband there are some good ways to make the M-Class stuff still more powerful.

Also a convolution reverb would be good, although I'm not sure how that could work in terms of latency within the Reason environment. Can anyone comment on that?

One thing Reason really needs is an arp! I have emailed Propellerhead and asked if they plan to add this feature but they said there is no sign of such a feature yet.

That is quite a shame......

It seems that what all these dudes at Propellerhead are actually working on is...
