Did any of you bother beat testing? :hihi:
No, I spent most of my time actually trying to get it to work on the host demos I downloaded. Didn't have any time left for that-

Whoa Matt. Old school Mario dungeon meets New Age. :)

New version of Anna as well:
http://www.synthmaker.com/docs/uploads/ ... a/Anna.dll

http://www.synthmaker.com/docs/uploads/ ... a/anna.png

Fixes:
- CPU spikes upon note on's should be gone or close to gone.
- WaveGeneration much faster, making oscillator knobs more responsive.
- "rand" wave generation was buggy and basically rendered the slope knob useless on it.

Let me know if any new bugs have been introduced due to the fixes....

Will make a post over in the instruments section as well.
edit: nah, I won't. it'd just be a duplicate post with a screenshot directly in it... :)
edit2: I'll make a separate thread on here in the DC chat though. So hard to keep track of feedback in this thread.
edit3: updated the dll again, I could remove a workaround and make the waves yet a bit faster to generate. Sorry for being a PITA.

Working great on energyXT with much lower cpu usage :D

It includes alot of changes which all have to do with removing bits and pieces. So there's less stuff but it should work alot better. Nothing new was added although we had to change the interface a bit since parts of the modulation section was removed.

Oh, and there wasn't enough time to re-edit all the presets into it. We'll just have to do it later on.

Anyway, have fun.. hope you like the improvements and good luck to everyone now that the voting is active :)

Here's a couple of updated images to go with it:

Quick request...any chance of adding a date to each update. If only one is updated, and you use the 'last edited on...' to determine when the last update was made, how will we know which entry it was that was updated? :P

Glad to hear! I'm gonna look over it some more to see if there's anything else that could be optimized. There's still some small issues in some hosts though but overall it's alot better than the first release.

Cubix has been updated fixing a few minor issues, I guess I was too late sending it in because it's not on the main DC download page. The update can be downloaded here:

can the updates be flagged in some way?... like with an [update] tag or a blue star or something? i'd hate to d/l them all again.

Post

about the updates... ben must have been very busy today. i didn't hear from him at all. however, i will post a thread and lock it for updates. i overwrote my database by mistake (now i only have the old one) so i can't remember when i updated what but i know what has been and what will be updated. just not when. i can't guarantee that ben will have the time to tag the updates. i know he's awesome about updating though. always sends confirms and stuff too. :)

Hi Guys-
a new version is available from my website here:

http://mattbentley.muzic.net.nz/videovst/

V1.02 does nothing new but it fixes a bug in Reaper where parameters/filename doesn't get saved properly along with the rest of the project. Was some switches in GCC I had to turn off. Incidentally may fix some bugs in other apps, but probably not.

The version on the developer challenge page is also fine to download, but this one may help you if you're having problems already. It also might not.

Thanks,
Matt

Sorry, I am completely confused. I understand that there is no deadline for updates (no feature changes though), so...

Are the plugins updated in the download page of the contest, or only in each developer's page? If I download from the contest page NOW, do I download the latest version?

How about tomorrow's updates? And what if we miss an update?

Do we vote based on the latest version available, or on the version that is available in the contest download page? What if an update brings about a crucial change, such as dramatic improvement in cpu use?

I think there should be a deadline to updates, say Sunday or whatever, then any further updates should be after the contest. Or else it is a bit messy.
