however im here because you claimed a turntable isnt an instrument because there are no schools in such things.

If you can't imagine writing a whole song in FL Studio then you simply can't write a song and you must not be a musician. I am now a Sonar user but I go back to FL often to cure a composition issue.....because, even though it's not my favorite workstation, it is amazingly intuitive and efficient for laying down ideas before I forget them. Then, it gets exported as MIDI to Sonar.

I'm building a new stringed instrument (that is not a guitar in any shape or form) but I'm not going to say what it is yet

But I will be making it electric so I can record direct through some fun toys...

Haha... what the hell's that supposed to mean? You do realize there're tons of orchestral and pop game scores, right?

I'm with vurt on this one.

Oh yeah, and I do use FL to compose game music of all types... pop, orchestral, polka, etc.

NO! I'm talking about taking a complete song track wav file, loading it in FLS using the 'Audio Insert' in the step seq and then loading some VSTis up and trying to play to the wav file.

You can start and pause the pattern at any point and hear the instruments, but in order to hear the wav file, you have to start the pattern from the very beginning.
