Hi.

This never really occured to me because I've only been using one shot samples or complete sample banks before. However, if using a sample CD with one note only .wavs the VSTi sampler must be able to some sort of timestretching if I map this one .wav across the keyboard right?

Which samplers have this capability? I tried the DirectWave demo but couldn't find anything in there. I own Intakt and Battery but I wouldn't wanna use them for synths and basses.

I'm thinking DirectWave, Halion or Kontakt. I know Kontakt has it's TimeMachine feature. Would that be the correct way to go about it? How about Halion and Directwave?

Cheers

Yes
Cool, but what about other samplers that don't have a proper timestretching ability? The reason I'm asking is simply that I need another sampler and I want to make sure I get what I need.
