Hi.
This never really occured to me because I've only been using one shot samples or complete sample banks before. However, if using a sample CD with one note only .wavs the VSTi sampler must be able to some sort of timestretching if I map this one .wav across the keyboard right?
Which samplers have this capability? I tried the DirectWave demo but couldn't find anything in there. I own Intakt and Battery but I wouldn't wanna use them for synths and basses.
I'm thinking DirectWave, Halion or Kontakt. I know Kontakt has it's TimeMachine feature. Would that be the correct way to go about it? How about Halion and Directwave?

Cool, but what about other samplers that don't have a proper timestretching ability? The reason I'm asking is simply that I need another sampler and I want to make sure I get what I need.Mutant wrote:Yesm@tte wrote:I know Kontakt has it's TimeMachine feature.
