The prize money, that have been donated by our great community, is to be distributed to the top three entries based on a 3:2:1 ratio. There will be no less than $2000.00 total cash, so the First Place is guaranteed $1000.00.

The non-cash prizes, so generously donated by audioware developers (even some of the entrants

) are to be given away either based on votes or random name drawing. Depends on what the donator requests.

Anyway, I'm very happy to announce that there won't be a single person without a prize. I hope you're all having fun.

Thank you all for showing support in this event.

And a huge thank you goes to Ben for giving his time and advice for the competition. And most of all, for making this an unforgettable KVR event. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't be here doing this.

thats awesome..

If kvr hosts another one of these things.. maybe we could have radio button options for each entry.. where we could rate the gui, the sound, the functionality, the stability, etc for EACH plugin.. then use that to generate the final results.. so everyone gets a rating for each of their entries.

besides.. some plugins I found had excellent guis or a great sound but were crash-happy.. would be nice to have different weights applied to each.. so we could have a 'best gui' award and a 'best functionality' award and a grand prize 'best overall' award.. etc

At the risk of sounding like a complete dork I'd that with all these great free plugs/apps everyone is a winner.

I would second the idea of rewarding different aspects of plugs/apps if we do this again in the future.

to every entrant! I donated a bit, but overall, nobody can honour all the work that got into those things. I would be happy if such an event could be repeated, and thanks to tuz

I have dial-up.

And trying to download a massive sample set of vocal samples doesn't look likely in the near future.

So it seems as though my only prize is a few (amazing few, but still only a few) admirers of my work.
