Thanks guys.. I'll make it worth it. I'm not sure the best way to do it. Should I set up a paypal account?
Perhaps I could talk to Jeff the developer of SE and se if he would take payments from you guys in my name?

Hope they don't count on you too much at work soma, cause if you make midi plugins a la carte, you'll get pretty busy :D

You already have.

Yes, that would certainly make it easy. My contribution will be possible by noon, a bit late now in Colorado. :)
What do you think, SWTrex?

That works for me.

would like a plugin that analyzes incoming audio, and convert it into tap tempo informations.
planned for full tap tempo version.
Btw if anyone wants my source SE files to elaborate on feel free to ask.
wow ! great !
Soma you're really a nice handy guy.
(and thank you for the SE files, buti must admitt i don't know anything about this thing...)
Hmmm.... it seems I can't revive my old taptempo plugin. I have lost my old CK modules and if I get the new ones I will need a registered version of SE for them to work. The registered version is $50. Anyone care to help me out?
So who am I but an eXT forum lurker about to *bump* this for as long as it takes.

A copy of SynthEdit for soma and an even brighter future for eXT(2?). Not bad, eh?

:help:

Announcing the "Buy Synthedit for Soma" Campaign

If you aren't familiar with soma's work check out his plugs HERE

This is the least we could do show our appreciation for the creativity he brings to the eXT experience. Think of it as an investment:

All we're looking for is a few people to donate a few bucks/quid/yen... whatever. So far, bobsled and I are committed to getting this done.

Soma, let us know how to donate.

Cheers,
SWTrex

I own a full licensed SE version which I doubt that I'll use ever again.
For a reasonable offer (and if license transfers are allowed) I'm willing to part from it and thus it should make it easier to accomplish getting something together for soma.
I'm thinking of 25$, what do you say ? That would be my part of the contribution then.

Thanks guys. Trying to find somethign better and as easy as paypal :( They've gotten greedy.
paypal wrote:Effective Date: October 12, 2006
Beginning October 12, 2006, Personal account holders may receive up to 5 credit card, debit card or Buyer Credit funded payments per 12 month period without having to upgrade to a Premier or Business account. Personal account holders who receive a card or Buyer Credit funded payment will be charged a fee of 4.9% + $0.30 USD for domestic payments and 5.9% + $0.30 USD for cross border payments.
Edit:
You know, skrew it. I appreaciate the take on the request but the pain isn't worth the 50$. I'll just buy it myself.
If someone wnat's to buy me a tiny peice of software they can transfer to me instead or just send a nice postcard/picture/mp3/e-card (if you can find my addresses :hihi: ) or something like that... That would be cool. (one guy once said he was making me a theremin! but I never saw it)

36 pages of thread, most of them talk about soma's creations. If we are 10 (we must be a lot more) sending 5euros (not a lot, right ?) to Soma, he will have the license, and he deserves it.
And, Soma, if you don't want people to give money this way (like some kind of "charity" : "hey ! let's buy him a license!"), just make your audio-triggered tap-tempo payware, i would be glad to give the 5 euros for this one ! ;)

Post

Thanks guys. Don't worry about it though. I can't find a service that is good for "paying" many small amounts.
I'll probably just buy Plastique's licence if I can.

Post

i'd be in to donate as well (it's my donation month, ya know ;))

soma, it's still 6 days to go until paypal gets greedy, so just set up an account, post it here or pm us and we'll send you some bucks :)

Post

how about this? just pass your donations on to jorgy when the next big version comes.

Post

You're kind of a hard-sell, soma.

Aw, c'mon...we want to do this :?
Hmmmm...
