I just want to know - I don't see why I have to give reasons and I'm sure if I do someone will get all defensive about it so I'd rather not go there.

I do but I haven't even downloaded it yet as I have had no time this week to get into most the entries apart from a couple. But hopefully I will this weekend. I've asked for an SE indicator on all the plugins... http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5&start=75aMUSEd wrote:I just want to know - I don't see why I have to give reasons and I'm sure if I do someone will get all defensive about it so I'd rather not go there.

Really like how this sounds. The gui is a little to dark on my screen for the lower controls, but this is a keeper.
Not sure if it's S.E. S.M. F.M. or B.M. but really like the way it sounds.

Right then, the very first thing I tried with this plug was the classic Pultec boost/attenuate on the low end.
If you give this plugin a 100hz boost/atten it seems to dip the midrange lower down that what the real hardware did...and perhaps not quite as much as the original. I'm totally going from memory here, but that was a very popular "clean" setting if the quality of the mix was excellent and you just wanted to tip up the lows and scoop a little middle to contour the sound for that popular "modern" shape.
This observation is *not* a criticism. I had about 5 minutes to see what the fuss was about, so I have not worked with this plugin beyond the time it took to try the above Pultec trick.

This EQ looks like something that URS would charge $250.00 or higher for. The fact that Leftover Lasange put it out there for free is too cool!!!
(Is there an output level control that I'm not seeing?) If not, it's still super cool, but I was just wondering if there was something I wasn't seeing..

Beautiful sound and presentation, I don't have to fork out for something expensive now
Have the Leftover Lasagne team done any plug-ins previously? I am curious to say the least

i love the developer name , left over lasagne , i am sure it is a reference to leftovercrack punk band
the GUI is superb , it hits nearly nothing on my cpu , cool presets
10/10
i think it will come in the two first place of my choice for the kvr DC

Fantastic plug. Sounds much better, IMHO, than Pultec on Protools Bomb Factory. If it is Synth Edit, doesn't matters to me. Now is on my top 3 list. URS, Elio Sound, Waves Q-Clone, Peq Red Algorithmix, Plpar EQ are all very god, but... Pulshteck has real good work on its eq curves. Pushtec dont sound bad ever; high, lows, mid, all fits fine. I am very happy with it.
Try and will see.
Thanks.
