you forgot to mention that it is FREE

and i am against nuffink iead to label SE and non SE plugins
who care if it works and it don't hit too much on the CPU

but what we could do is to reveal it when the contest is over

bmanic's drum thingie: the new standard for a/b comparisons.

God damn that pulteq (UAD) is distorted (I like it though). I wonder if you could get a similar result by mixing a clipped bandpassed signal with the original at whatever frequency.

The eq shapes sound much different, the pushteq has a lower q. I feel like there's more phase distortion in the UAD too.
Not trying to rip the devs, just making some observations.

So maybe I missed this somewhere, but I didn't see it clearly stated if this is supposed to be a recreation of a Pultec's sound, or if it's just a new EQ that looks and acts like a Pultec? Just curious, thanks, LOVE the plugin.

Well it's a bit different from a UAD Pultec. The Pushtec has a HF shelf followed by a HF attenuate, whereas the Pultec is a HF Bell followed by a HF attenuate. I think the Pushtec sounds harsher than the Pultec Pro at the same settings because of this. The bass end sounds very similar. I think the Pushtec mid bells are cleaner and more sharply defined than the Pultec Pro.
