After downloading and installing Electri-Q for WinAmp I realized that it was an upgrade to 1.5.7 with new features like min-phase. When will the VST and other versions be released? It was a pleasant surprise!

I just tried it, and it crashes Winamp while saying something nasty in German...

Sorry, I didn't know it would do that. Worked just fine for me. It doesn't work as a VST link file using a VST bridge. It's just a WinAmp plug in so I don't know why I doesn't work for you. Maybe I just got lucky. Things go that way sometimes. Sorry it happened to you.

Sorry that there hasn't been an update so far. I'm very busy right now, preparing myself for the trip to brazil. We have a meeting next week to discuss the release date of the next update. This will be released before 18th of october, but we don't have an exact date right now.

I was checking back and the other thing I did do was that I downloaded the latest version of WinAmp 5.3. I'm not sure if that made a difference or not. That's all I can tell for now.

That's exactly what I thought, and did. No difference. It's OK, I mostly use Foobar these days anyway. Thanks!VanMc wrote:I was checking back and the other thing I did do was that I downloaded the latest version of WinAmp 5.3. I'm not sure if that made a difference or not. bduffy and all, I am so sorry. The file I DL was from :
http://www.aixcoustic.com/uploads/media ... WinAmp.exe. The file from the WinAmp.com site gave me the same German error message. Go to aixcoustic.com for the most currnet WinAmp file.
Sorry for the confusion.

That did it, VanMC; there's something wrong with the Winamp.com version! Works like a charm.

Hmmm... ~all Winamp, DX and VST plug-ins works perfectly w/ Foobar (and least w/ MediaMonkey (same plug-in architecture w/ Winamp), J.R MediaCenter and MyMP3PRO) too. You just need to installbduffy wrote:That's exactly what I thought, and did. No difference. It's OK, I mostly use Foobar these days anyway.
