Hi guys just wondering if anyone has could point me in the right direction for some good multiband distortion vsti's? free or not im just after some really good ones.

Retroband seconded (although it is a specific kind of distortion).

Also:

Free: Noizware Tridirt, Exponent Delta Force, Betabugs Bugdrive (still only beta)
Commercial: Izotope Trash, Ohmforce Predatohm

Or, just use Tiny God's Tinysplitter, and use any plugin after it that you'd like for a 3-band distortion.

some of the *presets* can damage your speakers... haha..

im fully addicted to trilogy+predatohm right now...

This is as good or beter of a sulution to a single multi-band, permiting dedicated compressors(with their own strengths per freuency range.
