The "Amen" Loop - You've heard it

Pretty interesting, if not entirely accurate.
That loop (in both original pattern and chopped up variations) has been used way more than even that guy gave credit for, including some big mainstream hits in the 80's (talking UK here).
Prodigy used it as well.
Half way through it did start to drag a bit, but his final point is a good one and indeed an important message.
The video version of that recording would have beneffited from more relevant images which would have made it more interesting and carried more people towards the end.

It's just amazing how many tracks used the amen beat, and still use it up to date. Jungle/breakbeat/Rave woudn't exist the way i know it.
Quite interesting to see that Zero-G claimsto have the copyright on it..
The best of "Amen" - coming out - soon?

Too sad, i just read that Gregory C. Coleman died early 2006 - i really hope he knows that his beat influenced and inspired so many new music styles.
I wonder what he would think if he saw videos of jungle/breakbeat/rave parties with thousands of people dancing to his beat? Does someone has an interview with him, if there is one?
