I want to try this drum vst but the download link doesn't work. On the fxpansion website there's nothing to be found.

Anyone has a live link out there?

You can get it in a Computer Music issue. It's not worth it in IMHO. It was made way back in 2000, and has issues with certain hosts. There's also no preview, so you'll have no idea what the drum sound is until you load it into a pad. As a replacement, I'd recommend the DR-008, even though is no longer being actively developed.

LijEyasu, no preview is very inconvenient indeed. I'll give it a try nevertheless, and the demo of dr-008 also. But i'm not looking for a very bloated (in a good way) vst, i'd like to find a small, Battery -ish vst sampler with build in effects.

Anyway, a nice forum member offered to send the dr-005 to me.

See if you can find a copy of Linplug's RMF Drum plugin. Kicks the DR005's butt. There are dozens of free effect plugin to download. Put them together and you're set.
