Hello,
I need help with setting the global tempo in Sonar 4 LE.
How do I actually do that ? (I can insert Tempo markers, and I know also the Tempo view, but how to set the global setting ?)
Help is certainly appreciated.

If you have tempo changes across your project, the only way to change the "global" tempo, is changing your Tempo Ratio. Locate the tempo bar, and shift+right clik on the current tempor ratio button that is pressed (usually 1) and edit then there.
Im not on your cake version, but i believe it's the same from very old ages...

I solved the problem. It was that I was using a project that was not newly made.
The proj I was using was derived from another existing proj in which someone had set various tempo changes.
I created a new proj, and right at the beginning I could set the tempo which then remained constant over the course of my song.
It works now.
