Sorry...bad english I know. I like to buy individual instruments for Sampletank off the web, and have only found one site to do so. Could anybody please give me some direction to some immediately, downloadable sounds, where you just pay right away? Thanks very much :)

Extreme Sample Converter can output in Sampletank1 format from various other free sample formats. Otherwise, IK and ESoundz are the only ST-format sample vendors I know of.

I second Doug's suggestion. Very reasonable price, and it opens you to the world of soundfonts - and there are thousands of free ones on the web.

Go to the RGCAudio site for a huge list of soundfont sites.

Good luck,

+1... but be aware that conversion is always limited, you only get the samples, no other settings. (I just had a nice experience with ESC converting nki to nki, and all the settings were lost. I had thought it would be a nice way to change the directory structure of the samples )

Dangerous Bear Underground (dBU) has a couple of smaller SampleTank sets. All their stuff is good IMO and very reasonably priced.

No such thing as too many sounds...
