Just noticed that the downloads from myspace play back at 96kb 22khz, wondering if thats the same for the playback as well. If so I think I'll start converting mine myself to that bitrate, so I know it's going through the highest quality algo

They didn't used to do that: You used to get the original file when you downloaded...

That sucks, I think I might disable downloads on my pages.

Won't it get converted again anyway though? So in effect it might sound worse, going through low bit-rate conversion twice.

Hmmm, dunno - from what I remember, you'd be better off having it stay at the same bitrate, rather than downsampling it. IIRs will know!

By the way, Fractal, are you sure you can't come up with more than four myspace addys?! Poor effort that

already done it ... the audio quality on myspace is not good
