Plugin that automatically removes bad frequencies?

ok, so i guessed right when i said:

"if you mean infrasound, different people tend to want to handle it different ways, so it's best the choise is given to them."

i also said:

"why don't you just put an eq in your sequencers default template that cuts the brown noten and below 15 hz?

isn't that "automatic" enough? then you never need to touch it again?"


... so, if you leave out the part about the brown note, could that be the solution you're after?

So any eq plugin will do ? Can you explain more clearly "brown noten and below 15hz" part?

well, as i said. different people want to handle the cutting of the lowest frequencies in different ways. i have no idea what so ever how you yourself want to acheive this, but i THINK that any eq will do just fine to what you want to do, until you start learning the differences in eq:s

note that i am not encouraging you to do this, as i think you sould generally correct problems like these in the earliest stage possible. but if you really think that your speakers are the problem, just play around with an eq and find the right setting.

and by 15 hz i ment fifteen hertz, and by that i ment that if i'd just throw away some part of the frequency scale in a stage that early, i think i'd cut at about 15 hz or lower, because i think that wouldn't affect anything it isn't supposed to.

Is there such a thing? In my opinion, such plugin could greatly speed up the production time. You could just quickly apply it on every track so that all those crazy frequencies don't pass through.

like CurveEQ etc. ? (imposes EQ)
or like SpaceBoy? (removes mud)
