forgive me if this is a noobish question
i'm looking for an effect or possibly an instrument that can move loop points on a sample in realtime with automation.
main goal is to move the last marked loop point backwards slowly making the loop shorter
thanks ahead

I'm not sure you can automate this because I didn't include automation but from what I hear (don't know personally) some hosts don't care and will automate it anyway. Not only can you load and play 8 waves in sync and move start/stop positions but you can playback any track by sending 8trk a midi note on or pressing a key on your controller.

Short circuit by vember audio may be able to do this (there is a polyphony restricted free version).
I know that the loop points are modulation destinations.
