-oscillator sync,
-comb filter and
-formant filter.
Oscillator sync is the most important. In fact it's a must.
Thanks for this fantastic synth.
it won't happen for internal code reasons, but you can try to FM an operator with a squarewave modulator for something a bit similar in the sound-oscillator sync
you have one, the allpass filter in higher order, and in the FL beta, a phaser filter which is basically a comb-comb filter
those have nothing special, they're just specifically tuned, check the few existing formant presets-formant filter
Oh crapola.tony tony chopper wrote:it won't happen for internal code reasons, but you can try to FM an operator with a squarewave modulator for something a bit similar in the sound-oscillator sync
Aha. There are no explanations of the filter types in the help file. What do you mean by "in higher order"? And what exactly does the peaking filter do? I know I could check it with a spectrum analyser, but I'm feeling lazy and the manual should explains it, because it's not a type you find in every synth.you have one, the allpass filter in higher order, and in the FL beta, a phaser filter which is basically a comb-comb filter
Well you may need to use several filters and it's quicker to set up a single filter and that leaves the other filters free for other tasks.those have nothing special, they're just specifically tuned, check the few existing formant presets-formant filter
it's like an EQ bandAnd what exactly does the peaking filter do?
Does it differ from an EQ band somehow?tony tony chopper wrote:it's like an EQ bandAnd what exactly does the peaking filter do?
It's like built in fruity parametric eq with freq sweep. You can get more wilder filter with parametric eq,little routing and XY thinigiejivamukti wrote:Does it differ from an EQ band somehow?tony tony chopper wrote:it's like an EQ bandAnd what exactly does the peaking filter do?
