They dont distribute with CD/DVD's any more

Well, they should make an exception.

Really strange that, I have the latest issues and even have used the downloads. But hadn't given it much thought that the CD was gone.

We sort of went all futuristic and cyberspace deciding to drop the CD. The problem with having one is that it has to be sent to pressing more than a week before the actual magazine. Meaning that any last minute reviews would have no audio examples or demos on the CD. And we all know them last minute reviews is likely to be the really interesting stuff.

We're working on improving the online service for providing material from the magazine though. But we will still have a cover-CD now and then, however now we actually wanna do something special once it's there instead of just trying to fill it up with whatever we can get our hands on.
