This is my attempt at one of those disco synth instrumentals around in the late 70's.
'Magic Fly' by Space would be the epitome of that "genre".
It was covered by Felix Da Housecat a few years back, on his splendid 'Kittenz and the Glitz'
album which revels in this style.

PS - My wife says the intro sounds like a Kim Wilde hit from a while back - 'You Came',
There's a passing resemblance I'll admit, but hardly plagarism

Cheese Machine, RMX, Virus C, JD990, Maelstrom, Sonar

On South Street in Philadelphia there is a double lot known as the "Magic Garden". It is the work of Artist Isaiah Zagar. A strange and reclusive hippy leftover from the 60's. It is basically broken ceramic tiles, cracked mirrors and junk held together with pink and blue grout that has been growing like some kind of alien mold from 10th and South Street to all points of the city.
Is it art or is it crap?

So far he has raised 170,000 dollars to buy the property he built it on.

Is my song art or crap?

Magic Garden

I haven't raised a penny.

After a month off, (it seems so long), this is a good one to come back to - I don't have to sing.
:)

The tune is traditional Irish called Banish Misfortune. In some quarters it is known as Varnish Me Foreskin.

Banish Misfortune

Recorded in Tracktion using Sample Tank, SFZ, M42, Blockfish,Endorphin and Bionic Delay and trimmed and polished in WaveLab.

Since about 79% of KVR comes from the Canary Islands these days, it's time for a quick homage to the Renaissance dance known as the 'Canary' or 'Canarie' or...

Canario

It's a 'lively dance for two people in syncopated triple time', and although the only example I've ever heard is the one in Terpsichore (1612) by Michael Praetorius, I promise this is exactly how a Canario would have sounded. :|
Some website wrote:The Canario is thought to have originated from Spain, where it was purportedly derived from a dance done by the natives of the Canary Islands. The Spanish explorers thought that the native dance looked like a canary hopping on its perch, hence they named the dance the "Canary", and subsequently named the islands the "Canary Islands". *
If you want to dance along, you can find thorough instructions here, complete with baffling diagrams. (For further assistance, please consult your nearest KVR Canarian.)

*This etymology is utter garbage, of course.
