Right now I have Project5, and I use the P5 delay and the Kjaerhus Classic Delay. Are there any other free, high-quality delays out there that match up to Kjaerhus's quality? I use that delay all the time, and I was just wondering if there some other good freebies to mix it up alittle.

Personal opinion only.
Retrodelay.
P1 tapedelay (if you can find it).
More Feedback Machine.
retrodelay & P1 are constants in my delay folder, MFM I love, but am still unsure about (difficult to precisely set delay times & has no sync to host tempo option - but it can sound unbellievable).

db-tempo delay, a classic handy tool...
i have it/use it.. since 1997 :-)

http://www.db-audioware.com/dB-T-tempo-delay-more.htm

In 1997, db audioware released the original freeware VST plugin, Tempo Delay. This simple stereo echo had one unique feature, it let you enter delays in beat measures instead of milliseconds.

dB-T tempo delay is our latest incarnation of this ever popular plugin. Now in DirectX form, this stereo delay still lets you enter time in measures, but now offers individual high & low pass filters on each channel (for old tape delay effects and special effect delays). Check out the presets for some starting points.

But above all, it's still FREE! So what are you waiting for?

The voxengo tempo delay is a freebie and quite versatile. http://www.voxengo.com/product/tempodelay/

i just found this yesterday, by glenn olander (crystal synth):

up to 4 pannable delays with ducking and more. you can create some really phat parts with short times. this kiks ass and it's so easy to use.

and +1 for retrodelay. awesome functions to get really wild (or subtle) sounds.

This is true - but one can download it & try it out - no restrictions for free.

+2 - nothing sticks to the mix like this sucker, and that wonderful, degrading sound on long feedbacks. This is my delay of choice now.

My favourite is Classic Delay, it can degrade sound in a very pleasing way, and sounds good in a mix too.
