[BUG] pasting in arrange creates new track in live!

yeah - exactly! it works for a while, then after a while anything i paste just creates a copy of the track i'm working on.

no, it's doing it again. does anyone else suffer from this?
i'm trying to copy some events to another track in the same arrange window, but live is creating a copy of my current liveslice track!

it seems that if i reload the song it behaves normally.

are you absolutely sure? I did notice some odd behavior when pasting (another minor bug):
I have two visible tracks. I copy a slice from track 1 and paste it a couple of times to track 2. No problems.
Then I create a third track, scroll down, paste the slice again and oops - it scrolls to the first track, hiding the track I was working on. Is that your bug?

no, i recognise that feature, though it did throw me initially!
it's like liveslice starts to ignore me clicking on the events - i can recreate the result in live by selecting a track by clicking on the track name, and pressing ctrl-c and then ctrl-v, the very same keys i would press in liveslice to copy some events.

i'm trying to recreate it at the moment, if i get it i'll report my findings.

got it:

- add a sample to the loops
- lock to loop
- unlock
- select and copy events
- click on another loop in 'loops'
- create new track
- press left mouse button on track and ctrl-v to paste
copy of current liveslice track appears in live!
and now the reload is required to enable attention of liveslice window with ctrl-c/v functions.

can you recreate this? or shall i just not move my arm like this?

damn it - after two copies of events to another thumbnail it copies the whole track to another midi track in live.

what am i to do?

if you are really impatient I suggest you join the beta list - that way you get the updates a bit sooner, with a risk of finding other bugs of course. You can get the betas by sending me an email, from the account you used for registering.
If I can't reproduce the bug at all or find anything I'll let you know. But it's very likely I can nail it though.

I have the same problem here with the latest version of Liveslice,when I want to copy a slice from an arrangement to another with CTRL+C/CTRL+V,it creates another track in Live
