stupid fl studio question

in the playlist I have selected some patterns I would like to copy and drag to another location. I know how to select them, just don't know what key to press to drag and I've tried a few. Don't use FL enough to remember this.

Once theyre selected I usually copy and paste and then drag the pasted selection to where I want it

Hink is it possible to move a selected group of patterns up and down?

If you want to copy the selected patterns you need to hold shift down while dragging them.

then I press shift and try to drag the patterns, but they change color and won't let me drag them.
can't believe it's easier to do this in cubase...

try selecting them with the paint tool+ctrl. I very rarely use anything else besides the the paint tool.
