I would personally think that guitar rig is much much more than anything line 6 six has..................
They're just very different. Guitar Rig has some weaknesses that Gearbox addresses, but I don't really want to have a huge collection of software and have to swap between them for particular sounds.

Hink - about that bridege.... :hihi:
I'll sell you the one across the street from me...the "new" bridge...:hihi:

Would you consider swapping it for a bridge in Lowell, Massachusetts?

:hihi:

It should chill out a little and get the munchies.

Not sure if that was a real question but if the hard drive smokes you buy a new one, reinstall the program, plug in the damn dongle and keep on playing.

What do you do when the PodXT smokes?

buy a new one...or use my POD 2.0, or my Boogie Half-stack, or my GT2....however I would assume the longevity of hard drive might be just a tad shorter...but yeah, it was really a joke...;)

I'm demoing guitarrig presently........I'm finding it more "playable" than guitaramppro (logicpro) but I HATE native instruments!

I will side by side it with my podxtlive a little later (when I'm not quite so hungover :hihi:

Don't let your prejudice against the company affect your judgement though. GR is a great VST (although I think it has a few weaknesses), and very flexible.

Yes sir! I have really been surprised at how much I like it.

I'd have bought in at $49. I'd have considered it at $99. For $199, I'll pass. I think they're crazy selling this stuff for $600 to begin with. Its just not that good.

Thanks for sharing that.

What are we discussing now? GR? Gearbox? I'm lost. But I love my Gearbox VST with the huge red dongle :D... or as we call it here: the sheep box :D

Being as the thread is about "Gearbox VST", that's what I was talking about... :)
