Stuck notes on ST 2.1 after reinstall

Hi everyone.
Lost everything recently after a computer problem.
After reinstalling ST 2.1 with my SS1/Omnisynth sounds from the earlier Group Buy - I find that I'm getting stuck notes in Sonar.
Now...ST2.1 was the first thing I reinstalled after Sonar, so I'm not saying it's ST's fault. In fact it wasn't like this before the reinstall, although I do recall some talk about stuck notes some time ago.
Everything went back on the same computer (1 gig ram, P4 3ghz).

I'm sure I'll find the cause eventually, but wondered whether anyone here could shorten my search. Meanwhile I'll check out the Sonar forum and try reinstaling Project 5.

Do you get stuck notes for any other virtual instruments?

I didn't think i did... but I get stuck notes on the included DX1 synths.
So it's not an IK issue. I'll check the drivers...

Stuck notes usually occur because a note release message got dropped or garbled somewhere in the path from keys to synth. Make sure you've got the latest drivers, try another MIDI interface if you can.

I cured it by installing the VST version - works fine now.
When I first reinstalled I only installed the DXi.
