Does the new US-122L work with FL Studio?

So I found out on this forum and Loop Talk that my Tascam US-122 apparently has compatability problems with FL 6.

I'm looking to upgrade my interface anyway, and would like to get something that works well with both Cubase and FL. The new US-122L is the right price point, and it uses the USB 2.0 protocol for lower latency. But will FL 6 and up work with it?

Is anyone use this with FL6 and how is it?

Hi, just bought a 122l for my laptop, and thought it worked ok with FL6, but somehow the sound goes out when using the asio output after a few minutes. I have no idea why this occurs, and can be reset by switching the output to the normal 122l output and then switching back, but it's still quite annoying. It's probably one of FL's weird programming glitches or something, but looking at all the problems people had with the old 122 I'm inclined to return it for an emu 0404 or something..

When FL 6 first came out, they had fixed it to play nice with the us122. Then they did an update and the problem came back. This and the fact that FL doesn't really play nice with M-Audio's projectmix i/o are the reasons why I don't really use it anymore. I wish they would get it together because it is the most intuitive program out there. I switched to Ableton Live just because it works with everything. I do miss FL though. Good luck with that. They usually say it's a tascam problem and tascam has no customer service to speak of.

that sounds a bit like a power management problem: your PC orders the USB device to go to sleep.

Yea I thought about that, even bought a powered usb hub to see if it would help, but it didn't. Thankfully, FL Studio 5 seems to be working just fine with the tascam.
