I keep getting a processing error returned from Tank FX. I've only tried getting flac or ogg back, does it only work with mp3?

[edit] tried mp3, seemed to work, but then file wasn't actually there.

Looks like a 60 sec. time limit.
I got the same error trying ogg, but after three tries it finally took.
The only thing I did differently on the third try was press "bypass normalize"...after that it worked everytime regardless if it was bypassed or not.

Naw, it's working fine. It was designed to be the perfect screaming chicken emulator.

BTW, I finally got flac to work. I guess Tank-FX is a little fussy.

i also had that once. i uploaded a percussive sound a got back a music clip
but most of the time it works great!

So I finally got flac working for me, that normalize thing seems to be the trick.

I used a six second file with a burst test tone (the one that comes with sound forge). Sounds different from Convolve's, so I thought I'd share.

So, here's a little but of fun. Here's a clip of some chords played on MrRay run through the tank, and both my (irs) and Convolve's (irc) IR files, all 100% wet:

Remarkably (or maybe not so), they don't much sound anything alike.

Very interesting, I think it has a lot to do with the process of the IR generation?

I did the impulse with Voxengo's Deconvolver, and used only a three second sweep test tone (generated also with Deconvolver). The test tone was uploaded as 16-bit stereo WAV file, the download was done in lossles FLAC.

I can only assume it has something to do with the test tone specifically (volume, length, what frequencies swept). Acoustic Mirror uses a plosive first and then a sweep and recovers the IR from there.

My IR is much more wet and has a broader frequency response, to the point that it is more extreme than the file that just went through the tank on its own, which I assume also has something to do with how much source material gets picked up mostly dry even when set 100% wet.
