I have released an update for this multi-effect plug. It fixes a compatibility issue with certain hosts, namely Sonar and Orion, so that more of you can enjoy ShapeShifter!

So... that's why there are no T3 presets for the included synths :D

I already sleep better knowing that Shapeshifter, SOUP, and PhasePhix are in my plugin arsenal. ;)

If Pro-Sounds sales go extremely well though, I'll be gearing up, eventually, with every host I can get my hands on so Pro-Sounds and T3 and all the other crap I do can support them and their instruments. :D :party:

I think companies should give you lots of freebies of their hosts in return for all the great work you contribute to the world of presets! :-)
You definately did a great job on the Soup and ShapeShifter presets, really appreciate your work on those!

Soup comes with around 300 full patches, and about 200 of these where done by Totc (the other 100 were by Daniel Maurer who's also done lots of presets for stuff like Rhino..)

But as well as complete patches there's also presets for lots of individual parts of the synth, therefore you can program your own patches without having to do everything from scratch

Alex beat me to it...but yeah, I did 200 out of the 300 patches it ships with. Although, mine were done pre-1.5...which added the filters, mod matrix, and all that jazz. So mine don't make use of anything added on and after 1.5, since they were made on v1.0. They're mostly Acoustic instrument simulations....some of them are really nice...a few are pretty experimental...there's some typical synth type stuff in there too. I used the partial envelopes to do simulate filter sweeps and sounds since SOUP didn't have them when I patched it. I'm eventually going to update the whole set, and possibly add a few more, since I've been dying to make use of all the things Alex has added to it. Daniel's patches for it are excellent by the way...as is everything he does. :)

There will be more presets next Soup gets updated, but at the moment I don't know when that will be.

I'm not sure how many presets would count as 'enough', but I would say that what's more important is having presets that you find useful. Having 1000 presets is no good if none of them fit in with your music.
I think the presets that come with Soup cover a lot of bases, from bread and butter stuff to more exotic and weird sounds. So I think you'd find a lot of use for the 300 that are there, whatever kind of music you make
