looks like a pretty cool granulator, but it's only for mac. what else can do stuff like this for windows? the only one i know is the freebie kt granulator, which is great, but i get the feeling river run is more advanced...? maybe not?

Another few:
ioplong's sloper
heizenbox
The two granulators in Audiomulch would do exactly what RiverRun does, the DLGranulator as live input effect and the Bubbleblower from file. I love the Bubbleblower, use it all the time.

There is a free plugin inspired by Bubbleblower, it's called GSP (granular sample player) and it's avaiable here:shamann wrote: I love the Bubbleblower, use it all the time.

----You might look into Tunguska, the effect vst that is included with Ironhead (Ugo's new drum synth), it has a great sound, even if granulation is only one part of it. Maybe give it half a look for a granulation type effect, but it's got other tricks too, and can mangle a sound up pretty good.
