Looks like there are more problems with C4 on the Mac side, no?

There are many things to commend C4, but one area where I find it's dropping the ball is in usability.

MickGael, would you care to elaborate? I'm not even sure whether "drop the ball" is positive or negative

Haven't really noticed ton of "bugs" per se, but the inability to support older versions of the VST spec is annoying, and the inability to load AU's makes it very inconvenient compared to other hosts in a SERIOUS way. It also uses a surprisingly high amount of CPU, more than previous versions. But on the whole, pretty good. The Virsyn plugs are nice new additions. It's getting in the same price range as Logic though, and in that price range, they really need some better production plugs, and I have to say this, the ability to support AU and older VST formats.

I've read somewhere that the new built-in plugs are pretty good, though - would you not agree? Also, have you come across many plugs of older, unsupported VST specs that you could not use in C4?

The built-in plugs are very good, Virsyn stuff, plus Halion 1, a stripped down Halion with some Yamaha Motif-ish samples. For example, BFD and Orca from FxPansion don't work.

I have had not problems with BFD (including multi-outputs) and with the expansion packs.
I haven't had problems with Cubase 4. Works great.
