Tempo problem in Fruity Loops

I am using a MIDI controller in Fruity loops. And for some reason, it won't record the notes I am putting in at the same tempo I am playing them. What is the problem here? It never used to do that. And then I stupidly messed with some of the settings and it did that. I'm pretty sure I can fix it in MIDI settings but I have no idea what the problem really is or how to fix it. Thanks

Hmmm... I'm not really sure what to tell you. I'm having a similar problem I think.

Yeah, you need to stop expecting a toy to work like a real DAW.

A bit too obvious to be the right answer, but maybe you've changed the snap settings under > Line drop down options?
