It sounds even better at home at least now that I normalized it hehe.

Hmm I'll remember to do that later.

Runagate, how do you think your machine got AIDS?

Probably from me f**king with it.Genetic_Junk wrote:Runagate, how do you think your machine got AIDS?
Some unsolvable sound card issue that I've spent about 9000 hours trying to fix. Long stoy short, my input has to come from my Photon, my output has to come from my shite AC97 internal card, and for no reason at all they stopped working at the same time, regardless of what drivers I use.
Bobsled
Here's the tracks for this song for you to play with.
Sorry, but I had to mp3 them since filelodge only allows 50 mb and they werw all about 56 mb. At least they're 320kbps, though.
La Fiesta tracks part 1
La Fiests Tracks part 2
Or really, for anyone to download and remix that feels like it.

Right on...I'll download these at work then start having fun with them later tonight. Ya know, this is a good opportunity to hear many different mixes/takes/perspectives based on the same material.runagate wrote:...for anyone to download and remix that feels like it.
Hope we all start posting some results from our experiments.
btw check out http://www.penceland.com/midi/La%20Fiesta.mid (prob. not the same .mid runagate used) to get a better idea of what a kick-ass job runagate did with his tribute...

The only kick-ass job I did was getting my slow-assed PC to deal with this many tracks at once. A tech nightmare. Must have crashed out 50 times overall, but I really wanted my own VST version of it.
I'm still pissed that GSK Brass still won't work on my PC after whatever cosmic radiation hit it that one day.

I enjoyed listening to this immensely, I'm now downloading the tracks so I can try to pick out the Richman2 parts

Well, the Richman 2 is now rendered into the mass of one of the horn sections. I'm sure we can both pick it out, but I'm gonna have to make a Richman2 song just for you since I enjoyed programming it so much for this.

Ok I'll wait then and make a patchbank and demo song when you get it ready
Thanks, Shane. Glad you're practicing being suave.
There's actually a modernized version of this song he did that kicks the crap out of his original, believe it or not. It's got piano instead of epiano (yeah, I know my version has piano but that's not what it was originally) and it just rocks.

Took a break from RTFM and imported the tracks runagate posted. No automation, no effects, just routed to a master track. Yes, I am that boring.

At least I've got the tracks ready to work with, poor little things.
*edited too late a reference to suave being sucked out
