Very good news Tweakbench! Those CPU use refinements are a great advance!
Any possibility of adding a Volume control to Tapeworm. A variable Velocity control (or even an Off switch) would be much appreciated too. :)
Thank you for all the wonderful plugins! They sure are an impressive collection to be proud of!

DUDE. That "download bundle" button just made my day. Glad to see my favorite plugs getting a new lease on life. Nice work!

So then I take it that there is little possibilty that a Volume control and/or Velocity switch will be added anytime soon (there's even room in the current GUI, sort of). That's a shame because they seem like very easy additions and the lack of either of those features makes me prefer other Mellotron sims, when I'd LIKE to be using Tapeworm but it's not player-friendly. Oh well, thanks for all the other sonic goodness!!!tweakbench wrote:thanks! i'm very proud of the plugins.. and also proud that so many people can use them to be creative!
PS - I should have addressed this in the Instrument Forum, but didn't see this info over there, until just now.

Just keep watching.. It will grow and progress.. this update was very small.. and was mainly just to get all the plugins bug-free and up to date. New features and complete re-writes are in the works, and chaning a GUI's layout takes only a few minutes, since I always work within the same GUI styles

Sounds good. I appreciate the consideration. The only reason I mentioned it is because Tapeworm has the best sound and bank combo of all the freeware Mellotron emulators. It's really quite impressive that such a sound could be achieved in a VST. And I use LOT'S of that sound (progressive rock, ya know) so the possible update would be a big deal to me, and others I suspect. Thanks, and all the best!

I'm on the hunt for more tapebanks.. and I have a nice idea of how to emulate the actual tape-head action for the next big update of it..

Now that would make you one popular guy.
I'd contribute samples of Afghani chanter and throat singing if you pull that off. How many people have plug-ins with those?

Fantastic, I only repsectfully request that you make any changes switchable to maintain the beauty of the current sound(s).tweakbench wrote:I'm on the hunt for more tapebanks.. and I have a nice idea of how to emulate the actual tape-head action for the next big update of it..
Yeah, I wasn't even aware of some of the effects you have created. Very nice!
