Has anyone tried this combination? I can't get MinimogueVA to show up in Cubase Studio 4 and it isn't on the list of blacklisted VSTi's. MinimogueLUXUS works though...

They are made on different machines. The LUXUS model is made on a win98 machine:) . Happy to hear that it works. I would get Cubase 4 if I had the money. I have no idea what the problem is with the VA model. The MinimogueVA dll. file should produce a MinimoogVA folder in the vst-plugins folder.

The problem was that Cubase 4 regards the VA and the LUXUS as the same instrument, therefore enabling only one of them. It doesn't matter if I keep them in different folders or renaming them.
I like Cubase 4 a lot, but I would very much like to be in control over which plugins that are loaded and which aren't.
There are also some issues with recall using Minimogue (any version) and Cubase 4. Nothing major, and nothing to complain about really. Just informing.

Thanks for informing!
Then I know why it is not working: I set both versions to identical vst-instrument identification number. (To make presets compatible). I will change that for the next version, and I think that will solve your problems. The same issue caused problems for Receptor users.
Sorry to hear about the recall problems. These things must be updated in Synth-Edit 1.1 . We have had no Cubase4 reports yet. This is the first one.
All the best

No worries. I'm just glad that Minimogue is out there. It's my favourite free VSTi actually. Keep up the good work!gunnare wrote:Thanks for informing!
